5. The value of non-native materials must be: (i) be classified under a name of goods that may make the case for concessions in the receiving party; This is usually the case for chemicals. Products are considered original products only if they are obtained by a specific chemical process that took place in an ESTV member state. The original criteria of a property may be one or a combination of these methods. In addition, some products may have two or three alternative origin criteria; This allows the exporter or producer to choose the criteria of origin that are best suited to the production of their products.
